Daylight Studio

Daylight Studio is a full-service photo, film, and event studio with two Manhattan locations: Hudson Yards (450 W 31st St, 10th Floor, NYC 10001) and Flatiron (50 W 17th St, 2nd Floor, NYC 10011). Founded in 1998, Daylight Studio offers over 20,000 sq ft of blank canvas space for photo shoots, film productions, fashion shows, corporate events, product launches, brand activations, celebrity interviews, castings, and production holding. The studio has an in-house equipment department and an extensive props inventory.

Equipment Department

Daylight Studio has an extensive in-house equipment department available to renters. Categories include strobe lighting (Profoto, Broncolor, Briese), continuous lighting (ARRI HMI, Aputure, Kino Flo, ARRI Sky Panels, Litemat), light modifiers (Chimera, Elinchrome, Photek, Profoto softboxes), and grip equipment (Matthews, Bogen, Speed Rail, C-stands).

Props Department

Large in-house props inventory including seating (Barcelona chairs, tulip chairs, ball chairs, ghost chairs, sofas, bar stools), tables, walls and floor backdrops, mirrors, decor, plants, mannequins, and event furniture. Custom set-build team available.
